The listing, Old CORONET, MATRON or LIBERTY HEAD One Cent 1800s coin has ended.
This auction is for an old coin from the 1800’s. It has what is called a coronet, matron, or statue of liberty head on the front, and it says “One Cent,” and “United States of America” on the back. This coin was made sometime between 1813 and 1840, but the date has been rubbed off and is not legible. However, from looking at the ones on the Internet, because of the very large nose on this particular coin, I would guess it is the 1939 “Booby Head” or “Silly Head.” It has not been evaluated for condition, and I’m not an expert, so you’ll have to judge from the photos.
