I am giving away a Diamond-like, Rhodium-plated, light purple amethyst-colored Cubic Zirconia size 7 ring. Believe it or not, rhodium is actually more expensive and more rare than gold, although Rhodium-plated jewelry is somewhat common. A solid rhodium ring costs almost 10 times more than a solid 24K gold ring! Rhodium does not tarnish, it is great for people who have metal-sensitive allergies, and it should not make your finger turn "green". I have a gold tester that also tests for platinum and rhodium. When a ring is rhodium plated, a purplish/brownish line shows up on the paper (see last pic)

The high-quality CZ stones sparkle like diamonds. Some are round-cut and some are baguette cut. They are channel set. It's a stunning ring! The purple CZs look like amethysts.

Comes from a smoke-free, hairy pet-free home (I have a snake and gecko, but they can do no harm : ) ).

It's rhodium-plated, which is a silver color. Rhodium is one of the most expensive metals in the world. Sometimes it's the most expensive, and sometimes platinum is more expensive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precious_metal I think that right now it is the most expensive metal in the world. But, it's always more expensive than gold and silver. It's only rhodium-plated, though (not solid). Rhodium is good for ppl with allergies (it shouldn't turn your finger green). :)

Actually, after looking at the wikipedia chart again, rhodium is the most expensive metal in the world....by a lot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precious_metal Check out the last column for prices for $/kg for 2010-01-07. And remember that this chart compares the metals in different weights (1 ppb (parts per billion) of rhodium versus 5 ppb of platinum versus 4 ppb of gold). And then notice that rhodium costs almost 2x as much as platinum cost in 2010 with only 1/5 of the weight. Yeah, I should have invested in rhodium back-in-the-day!
