The listing, Over 1/2 Carat Genuine Diamond Heart Pendant Necklace has ended.

I am giving away a genuine Diamond Heart Pendant Necklace that has more than 1/2 carat worth of diamonds! The diamonds are between 1mm - 1.5 mm wide (about .01 carat or more each) and there are 60 diamonds, which means that the pendant has more than 1/2 carats worth of diamonds (.01 carat x 60 = 0.60 total carats)! The chain is diamond-cut, gold-toned, and sparkly.

The pendant is stamped, but I can't read the stamps. I bought it 4 years ago, and I think that it was sold to me as sterling silver/10K gold-plated. It has two stamps, but I can't read either of them. I think that it's stamped 925, but I simply can't read the stamp (even after taking a magnifying glass to it) (see pics 3 & 4). I tried to test the pendant with my gold-tester, and it indicated that it was gold plated, but I couldn't get a good line on the test paper because the tester's alligator clip would not sit properly on the pendant's gold metal. BUT, (and here is a big BUT), I tested the pendant with a magnet and it is slightly magnetic?!? So, IDK what the pendant's metal-type is. The chain is gold-toned, but not gold plated.

At any rate, I know that the diamonds are 100% genuine and there is more than 1/2 carat of diamonds. I have two diamond testers, and they tested the gems as diamonds. Please see the last two pics.

Comes from a smoke-free, hairy pet-free home (I have a snake and gecko, but they can do no harm : ) ).

Actually, without the bail, the pendant is 13/16" long, which is slightly over 3/4" long. Sorry, I was looking at the wrong line on my measuring tape.

Holy cow! You have 600 positive feedback! Well, this was an expensive necklace (since it is real diamonds and there are a lot of them). Normally, I wouldn't ship something so expensive to Canada for free because, even though S&H is cheap to ship to Canada as long as I don't use tracking and as long as the package isn't heavy, I can't track a package. It costs a ton to ship with tracking, as you know. But, if you win this necklace, I will ship it to you for free without tracking. I will just have to trust you that received it, and I'm willing to take that chance. : )

Yes there is! Well, I have two devices. My Presidium Gem tester tests for gemstones and diamonds, but it doesn't differentiate between moissanite and diamonds (even though diamonds and moissanite both pretty much cost the same...they are both very expensive!) My DiamondNite diamond tester tests for genuine diamonds and will only give a response if the diamond is genuine (thus, it rejects everything else, including moissanite). Both testers were pretty expensive, but I use them a lot. I can't really go into their inner-works here (they both work differently.....they test the chemical and physical properties of gemstones differently and it's complicated). But, my DiamondNite tester is extremely picky (I've come across genuine diamonds that it simply refuses to test as such). So, if it says that it's a genuine diamond, it definitely is! It's just gold-toned plated. I mean, not solid gold or 14K-gold plated, if that makes sense. The pendant is supposed to be either 10K of 14K gold plated over sterling silver, and there are two stamps on it, but I can't read them! I even took a magnifying glass to it, and I still can't read them :( And, my gold tester indicated that the pendant had some gold in it, but I didn't get a good readout on it, so I didn't include a picture. Sometimes, pieces of jewelry are too awkward-shaped for me to test (I have to attach the clip a certain way onto the jewelry and then make sure I hold the piece a certain way, and if everything is not perfect, the piece doesn't test well). Rest assured, this necklace cost me a lot of $, as diamonds are expensive!
