The listing, Transformers Optimus Prime G2 1993 action figure has ended.

This is the G2 version of the Transformers figure Optimus Prime from 1993/1994. It is basically the exact same mold as the original Optimus Prime from the 80s with some color changes and some new accessories. I know it is the G2 version because the trailer is black (the original trailer was gray). I believe this Optimus Prime is a later release possibly from 1994 because his legs and the little car are the same shade of blue (early releases from 1993 featured slightly different colors). He is incomplete as you can see but he does have most of his pieces.

Optimus himself is complete in good condition with both his fists and both his spring-loaded missile launchers. Some of his stickers are peeling a bit but there is nothing broken on him as far as I can tell. He transforms just fine.

His trailer is missing some pieces though, such as the door and the electronic attachment with sound effects. The little blue car is missing a wheel, and it is also missing some of the little guns and other pieces. The spring loaded launcher that shoots the car out does not seem to work.

Optimus Prime is one of the most famous and recognizable Transformers figures ever made, and since this version is the exact same mold as the original, many original fans of the toys in the 80s will be very familiar with this figure. And although it is incomplete, it includes the little fists, which are sometimes hard to find because so many kids lost them. This is a great opportunity to own a popular and much sought-after Transformers figure.

unfortunately, canada is indeed another country and shipping there is more expensive and a much bigger hassle than to the united states. if there was a way for me to offer free shipping to the states but a shipping cost for other countries i would do that, but listia doesn't allow me to have different shipping rates. if i offer free shipping it has to be for *everyone*. the best i can suggest is if you have a friend who lives in the states i can ship it free to him and then he can mail it to you.

i would do that, but i'm worried a buyer would agree to pay shipping, but as soon as the auction was over they could complain to listia that i was charging shipping on a free shipping auction. i'm just trying to avoid problems. hopefully you understand, and like i said if you know someone in the states i can ship to them instead.
