925 Stamped Sterling Silver Twist Chain measures approximately 18". The focal of this piece is truly unique. One 1/2 of the pendant is Black Banded Agate. The other 1/2 is rust colored Dragon's Vein Agate. Pendant itself measures: 1.5" and is finished with a Swarovski Jet Bicone Crystal.

Hi! I'm a novice...so don't laugh if I am way off. :) Is this ONE stone, naturally...or has it been combined, somehow? Like...how did they get the silver bands in there?

No way would I laugh! This is the same way I learn as I go. By asking questions, and if I'm lucky, an Artist will educate me :-)

Agates are amazing gemstones. Depending on the cut, the stone will be in varying forms of creation. It all depends on the elements present, and the aging of the stone at the time it's harvested. So yes, in answer to your question this is ONE stone, not treated or combined. Do keep in mind though when purchasing that there are methods out there used to combine gemstones. Usually two different types.
