The listing, Vintage pin has ended.

This auction is for a simple, yet very pretty vintage pin.
It is oblong with three leaves on each end. The center boasts a red stone in the center surrounded by six rhinestones (?). All are sturdily attached. Simple clasp in back. Measures 1 5/8" at the longest.

I honestly have no idea. I found the pin in a tin of buttons I have while hunting for a particular kind of button to replace on hubby's garment. I have four different tin boxes of buttons - couldn't tell you where I got 'em all from. Sorry. It does seem to be a very plain, simple piece = if that tells you anything.

Pretty! Are the stones prong set and open in the back?

The red stone in the middle is prong set with prongs you can see without looking too hard. The rhinestones (?) are also set with prongs - you can see only by looking closely. Behind the red stone is open. It is closed behind the rhinestones. Thanks for asking - hope that is helpful.
