Questions & Comments
are all of the cards there in each deck or are any missing, dont care too much about the flash cards, but the others i would like.
Im trying to figure it out now. It doesnt say on the boxes how many are supposed to be there. So we are matching them up to see if we can figure it out. The disney cards I count like 43 but the box is full. Ill get back to ya in a few mins n let you know. thanks for asking it never even dawned on me to count them. Im flighty i guess lol
Ok so Old Maid is copyright 1955. there is 1 swinging suzie card missing, 44 cards in the disney cards but they are not a typical deck they go 1-10, So there are 4 of each so they must be complete, like a go fish type of game but no instructions, Crazy eights theres 1-11 There are 4 of each suite 1-11 with the rule card. hope this helps
What a fun auction! And also a welcome ride in the way-back machine! I had that very same Old Maid deck when I was a little girl and we played for hours on end. Some of those characters were really ridiculous. I like looking at the things of way back then with my middle aged cynical eyes-it can be really funny to see how much just soared right over our heads!! Good luck bidders!
That's awesome- might take a while to top that one! Congrats!! I got a childs tea set tea pot marked 'occupied japan' at a thrift shop for $1 !!! I did the happy dance in the parking lot!! Fanned you back!

Ive found sooo many treasures! I cant even start to go into it! I live in florida and own a cleaning service . florida is the land of evictions and foreclosures right now which is sad but ppl leave allll sorts of things behind cuz they have no plc to take them! I recently tracked a lady down to return to her some of those super old shadow pictures of her relatives. I found them in between some linens so I know she didnt mean to leave them!
there is this church thift store in pa, right across the border from ohio. i go there and a few weeks ago we bought a electronic hand held scrabble dictionary for $3.00 but when i look it up on line, the price is $500.00 but i dont know. it was fun chatting with you all. good luck
1 mans trash is another mans treasure!!! My 14 yr old daughter used her allowance to by a barbie clock at a yard sale 4 yrs ago for $5 and she looked it up a couple days ago its going for $160. Sometime ppl just dont know what they have or dont wanna take the time and effort to get the proper $ for it!
nice.. lol yeah ohio is the land of foreclosures too. but after owning a house, i think i would rather rent a house. its cheaper. no repairs. to do. lol
