I was as addicted to this mystery series by honky-tonk rock 'n roll singer with The Texas Jewboys, would-be Gov of Texas, and outrageous and obnoxious author-legend Kinky Friedman as I was to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum mysteries. Unfortunately I read all the books in both series. I now pass the fun onto you. You will most appreciate his humor if you are an old hippie Baby Boomer who loves country and Western regardless and isn't shocked by lack of all decorum. Never boring. I promise.
