If you look at the distance between the volume wheel and the screen, and compare to all generations of Nano, you will see it's clearly a 2nd Gen.

It may be an iPod, I am not doubting that at all, but it is NOT a shuffle. That is a Nano, & looks to be a 2nd generation. I have the newest Nano made & I got mine in December 2009 & Mine has a camera on the back, and also plays fm radio. The 5th & 4th gen. Nano's don't come in 4Gb I guarantee it. The 3rd gen nano is short & fat. This information is completely accurate as I have 4 kids & own every iPod that has come out since the begining. But good luck to you just the same on your auction. I hope this info helps you out some.

Go to walmart.com and look at ipods and type in 4gb ipod and it will say this cause I just copied and pasted it from there Apple iPod Shuffle 4GB, Green, 4th Gen (Newest model) That is the one I have and I bought this in January

That is the link to Wal-Mart & the item is a iPod shuffle green 4th gen. 4GB is that what you have, because it's not the same as the iPod you have pictured up top here. Thanks.
