This was a doll my Grandmother won in a raffle a while back and was really not her style. She is 14 inches long with a plastic body and limbs and a rubber vinyl feeling face and head, very pale with light almost glowing blue eyes. The beauty of this doll though is the heavy crochet dress in lilac and off white; with darker purple satiny roses and ribbons. I don't know anything about crocheting, so I can't answer any questions about the type of yarn or any techniques or patterns that were used. Just know that this had to of taken awhile, because it has some weight to it and there is a lot of it; ruffled looking and a hat and flares out in two layers on the skirt. There is some stains on the dress, tried to show those in the last pic. I used some Dawn dish washing soap to get it mostly out, going to try some Clorox 2 and see if that gets it out, think it was chocolate. She would be a pretty gift for some little girl who wants to start a doll collection. My girls just aren't into that.
