The night light feature can be turned off and on. This is a very high-quality alarm clock and was barely used. I bought it cuz it was one of those spur-of-the-moment purchases because it looked cool it actually works excellent I just don't have any use for it cuz I have a thing for my iPhone in my bedroom.
