So these are 14g and 1/2 in length? Do you think these would do fine in a healing/swollen piercing?

Yes I finaly got size right 14g 1/2 length,I wouldnt till your healed because I did this before and it hurt so bad and took longer for my Lip to heal but once it is these fit great.

Why did it hurt? Was the bar too short? I pierced my lip Friday and have changed it since and there was only stinging

It seemed to swollen to fit for me and so it was tight hard to put in once the swelling went down fit perfect.Mined didnt heal right the guy that did messed up when he was doing it he stopped half way throught so its not straight through
