about 4in all around and 1.5 in high

it is 1.5 in. high and not quite 4 inches in circum. thanks it used to have a pure silver lid on it, but that was stolen years ago.

i hope the lid you have will fit it. i really used it for powder while i still had the silver lid. i think i still have the powder puff to it, but lately after the lid was taken, i used it to hold jewelry. it is very old that is why it is called a dresser jar. in the forties they used to set the jar with powder and a puff in it on their dressers and cover it with the lid. good luck and i fanned you thanks

Well I mesured my lid and it is 5" Im not sure if it will fit, I'll have to bid and see. If i win that is.=-)
