The listing, 1947 1ST CAVALRY DIVISON BOOK has ended.

This book came from an estate sale it has the mans name an company on the front i have put a few picture of the book an some of the things inside it was printed in occupied japan in 1947 its a world war 2 book i'm not sure if this is a frist printing or the 2nd the 2nd was dec. 1947 with 25,000 the first was nov. 47 an 5000 copies its very old an in pretty good shape to be so old so here it is happy bidding be nice an thank you if you ever served our country i'm very proud of all our men an you ladies to who have fought for our country god bless you all

does this book have photos and names of the 1st cavalry? If so can you see if it has George Hunt listed in it? My grandfather was in the 1st Cavalry. I really want this book if he is listed in it. Fanned and watching!

ok the list did not have his name but to see all the name in this book you would have to read the whole book it has names in it that don't show up in the list so i hope that helps a little i put more pics on so maybe you might see him thank you sue

This was my fathers' unit in the Army! He came in at the end of WWII and stationed in Germany and became a POW for about 3 days only to spend 2 tours in Vietnam and POW; but thank God came home both times!! Would loved to have this and add to his memorial corner unit I have of him! Boy do I miss him but I honor him everyday while I fight for the rights of our living Veterans! I'm the Sr. Vice President for the Ladies Auxiliary for the Veterans of Foreign Wars @ Post 1115 Very nice item, fanned, watching and bidding!

i had a son inlaw in 1st cav this how ever came from an estate sale the man passed and his kids was selling his house hold out i thought someone here might like it he was in this unit in world war 2 thank you so much

Nice item! On an item like this if there are more than one printing dates on it, it is the most current dated edition. This nice item would be a second printing. I hope this helps! Fanned and Watching!

This is a historic unit. This is the same unit that distinguished itself in Vietnam.
This unit has been portrayed in many movies including Mel Gibson's " We Were Soldiers" and the timeless and controversial "Apocolypse Now". After WW2 the unit was converted to an Air Mobile or Air Calvary unit!
