This beautiful coin purse was found in the back of an organ that dated to 1848, it was most likely stashed in there later on in the organs life. The purse is about the size of an old silver dollar, and after a bit of research, I feel comfortable saying that this purse is dated at about the turn of the last century. The leather has held very well over the years, with one side in a bit better condition in the other. It is still very functional (A rarity at this age), although its size losses its purpose in our current day. If the bid goes over 5000, then I will throw in 3 wheat pennies from '46 '47 and '48.
