What is the lining on the inside?

There is no lining - it’s one-layered like most cookie tins, with some decorative copper finish on the outside.

Thanks. The reason I asked is because I’ve seen these with a tin lining.

No problem - it might be made entirely of tin - the copper exterior looks like a thin layer of plating.
