Description

The listing, Rugosa (wild) rose LIVE PLANT START has ended.

This is for ONE live plant, a rugosa rose. It will grow to be about six feet tall and about six feet wide within the next five years, and it will spread. The wood of the bush gets thorny, and will make a good privacy hedge.

It has a beautiful aromatic magenta flower. The flower is also edible, and can be used to make sorbets, jams, turkish delight, and wine. In the autumn, the bush will bear fruit, rose hips, where the flowers bloomed. These are also edible, very high in vitamin c, and can be used to make jams, jellies, and wine.

I promise you the plant is live when I dig it up. The photo is from the parent bush outside my back door, which just started blooming this week. I know this will grow, and I will ship it priority, but I do not guarantee that if you leave it in the box for a week and do not tend to it that it will still be alive. Please play fair.

Flat rate shipping to anywhere in the US is $5, and that includes a delivery confirmation tracking number.

Does this take full sun? Do you know what zones it grows best in?
