This starts with 20 Forever Stamps and can end wherever it ends......up to 100 Stamps.
20 stamps for credits up to 4999, one additional stamp starting at 5000 and for each additional 150 credits.
At 5000 credits that would be 21 stamps.
At 5900 it would be 27 stamps.
At 6800, 33.
At 7700, 39.
At 8600, 45.
At 9500, 51.
At 10400, 57.
At 11300, 63.
At 12200, 69.
At 13100, 75.
At 14000, 81.
At 14900, 87.
At 15800, 93.
At 16700, 99.
So, at 16850 or more, you will get a brand new roll of 100 stamps. WOW!!!

16850 / 100 = 168.5
37500 / 200 = 187.5
70000 / 300 = 233.3

this is disappointing. the price per stamp for the first group of 100 was 168 per stamp. then you raised it a little bit for the second 100, which made the cost per stamp now 187 each, which was okay and i went along with it and immediately bid the 37500 you wanted for 200. but now, for this third group of 100, you want a total of 70,000 credits for 300, which makes each stamp now cost 233 credits, including those in the first and second groups of 100. so the stamps we were bidding on at a rate of 168 and then 187 now would cost us 233 each instead. prices per stamp should go DOWN the more that people bid on this thing, not UP. my limit whenever i am buying stamps is 190 credits each, so, i guess i'm out at this point unless you modify the pricing scheme to -reward- us for buying more, rather than -punish- us for buying more. of course, you can do what ever you like, it's your auction, but i thought i should point it out.

Not rewarding or punishing. Just trying to figure out what I can afford and still be fair. When I added the extras, I had to start from new starting point for them. Made a revision, think its still above your 190 per stamp, but that's your decision. And I am not punishing and am disappointed that you would use such a term. This is an auction. If you like the deal, you bid. If you don't, you don't. But either way, don't make the seller or those bidding on it feel like they are as you said being punished. Because if I had not added the first set of bonuses, who knows the bids still could have gone up some.....I never know. But thank you for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate knowing what people feel is a happy medium for bidding on stamps. Gives me ideas of my next stamp auction. (It will be a while, I am over budget on Listia right now).

UPDATE......UPDATE.....Question has been raised, what happens if it goes above 50,000......I don't know......Let's see....How about 1 more 20 stamp booklet at 50,000 and at each 5,000 after that. Topping at 70,000 with a total for the whole auction of 300 stamps. This is how it plays out:
Now - 49,999 = previous 100 + 5 booklets = 200 stamps
50,000 - 54,999 = 200 stamps + 1 more booklet
55,000 - 59,999 = 200 stamps + 2 more booklets
60,000 - 64,999 = 200 stamps + 3 more booklets
65,000 - 69,999 = 200 stamps + 4 more booklets
70,000+ (STOP, my limit, sorry have to stop somewhere) = 200 stamps + 5 booklets = TOTAL of 300 stamps

this is perfect for us people doing the free shipping but trying to not spend money if we don't have too. i wish i would see more stamp selling on a little scale for us people just starting off with points.i notice that if you put a product out there and don't put free shipping you get way more less bidders and less points.

Totally understand. I try to balance my free shipping larger items with things that don't cost to ship (or only cost a stamp) such as coke cap codes, box tops for education, and other small odds and ends. But, I'm like everyone else, I only look at the free shipping auctions usually.

Know what you mean by being credit poor. I end up there quite often. I sell something for lots of credits or a lot of little things for a total of lots of credits and then spend them all in one shot. Then I have to start all over again. Trying to save them up. Fanned you back. TY

Check out PaJaMaS auctions, there is one where you can post a comment on your auctions if you make a bid. I think it helped bring more traffic to this one.

I fanned you. Being an old woman, I usually let others fan me first and then I will fan them back. Trying to keep my fanning balanced so that it doesn't get locked up. I used to fan everyone I bid on, but half the time they didn't fan back. I have a policy of fanning everyone who fans me. Have you fanned me yet??
