Also known as Hummingbird Vine. It is a very prolific that is very thin & tendrilly. It creates hundreds of small red flowers smaller than a dime. This really does attract hummingbirds. Don't plant it near something hummingbirds would fly into like a window & become injured.

The plant dies every fall/winter but the seed pods create so many seeds that it will drop seeds & the vine will come back next year unless you cut it down while it's growing.

This vine will take over what it grows on but it is very whimsical & fairy-like & looks stunning in the early morn.

My mom lives in Indiana & I grow some in Kentucky. It will grow anywhere with similar climate & warmer. It will grow anywhere in the US in the warmer months.
