The listing, OLD Paintings/Drawing & OLD sketch book has ended.

I found these items in an old trunk that was given to me. Picture 1 - 4 is of an old sketch book with paper still in it! Picture 5 and 6 is on a sheet of like sketch paper. It is a drawing and painting done by a Crawford S. Lipscomb in 1981. It is signed and dated. Corners are not in perfect shape...please see pictures. In picture 7 and 8 this is a painting on like a cardboard type backing. I see no date or who did it. I am assuming the same person did them both around the same time because they were in the trunk together. Both pictures are 9" tall and 12" wide. The sketch book is a little bigger than the pictures.

Retired elementary school teacher
Crawford S. Lipscomb, 101, of 105 Crestview Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Wellington Nursing Center in Knightvale, N.C.

A native of Rock Hill, she was the widow of Maurice M. Lipscomb and daughter of the late Daniel Calvin Stevenson and the late Mary Sadler Peterson. She was a retired elementary school teacher, an amateur artist and a volunteer in literacy programs for seniors.

I don't know anything about these pictures other than I got them out of an old trunk. LOL The one is dated and signed. Some nice people here on Listia did research and found information on them and posted what they found here. That's all I can tell you...sorry! : )
