and BTW, YES "Dimestores" DID in fact sell gold filled jewelry, along with Collectibles, all sorts of things. My G'ma worked in one....and it was the only place in our small town to buy gifts, etc.

I remember going to Woolworths in Anchorage Alaska with MY Grandma long befor stores like wal-mart , and for someone with ADHD like me it was pure stimulation overload!
