Sheri, the cameo is old also, purchased many years ago from an old jewelry factory in RI. I have tons of vintage cabs, settings etc. Edie

Sheri, I don't want to confuse you, but the cameos I have are resin/plastic/lucite that were manufactured many years ago. In the 40's plastic jewelry was very common and it was referred to as lucite and bakelite. I purchased lots of these from an old jewelry factory (they were NOS, new old stock). I used to make a line of victorian style jewelry and used a lot of these in my designs.
I still like the vintage beads and use them in my new designs now.

thanks, edie...no, you answered before and said it was old plastic...thats just fine...however, i do like old and vintage, so, i will keep bidding on this beautiful broach. thanks! kewl that your kids and grandkids live in slt. i sure wish mine did...mine live in berlin, germany....waaaay too far away, and the newest is only 5 weeks old...ZOE SEDONA...my son is a professional dancer there and loves it, cuz they love the artists there, and treat him with the respect he deserves. maybe, someday he and his family will move and dance in san francisco and be close to nana...i would love that. take care...sheri in lake tahoe :-)
