does not take a sim not sure about if verizon is in canada the account is not active and i got the phone on craigslist from some one and had no clue it still had an active acount so that means u cannot get a new one right now i was told that the account would expre at some point and then i belive it can be used not sure tho done know much about that just going buy what i have been told and sure ill ship for free

You got the phone from craigslist. Did they not tell you of the account or the person who had it did not know it was attached to an account? Ever think to check if the phone was stolen???

no they did not say anyting about the phone i found out about the account after i sold the phone and the lady that bought it said there was still an account on it and she could not get it activated
