I apologize in advance if I am being ignorant, but size as in...of the watch part in round? The outside part or the length of the chain? I acquired several of these from my late Auntie, have auctioned others but no one has asked me that. And I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to pocket watches, or watches for that matter!

I want to know the diamiter of the watch. Just place a ruler across the center of the watch and see what it messures. that is what i mean.

The watch not including the case ,measures almost 1' 1/2' across Hope that helps!
