Description

The listing, Wisteria Seeds has ended.

The winner will win 5 wisteria seeds. The seeds are mixed so I can't tell you if you will receive blue or pink or both. It is a vine but can be trained into a tree. Adding support such as a pole keeps them from leaning over. Wisteria is very hardy and fast growing. It makes a great splash of color and smells wonderful.

Type: Vine
Height: Under 6 inches to 20 feet
Width: Climbs to 30 feet
Zones: 4-9

Sure I would use the green house method since your area is cooler. Get a couple of paper towels and fold them in half. Wet them. Then set the seeds in side the middle. Slide this into a ziploc. Zip it more than half shut. Leave a gap open for air flow. Put it in the window on the sill. Every few days go check to see if the napkin is dry. If it is, rewet it. In about 2 weeks you will have many little sprouts. I leave them in there until the root is 1-2 inches long.. Then I plant in a paper cup of soil . Once larger i transfer outdoors. This works for me every time. Leave your water out in a cup for overnight so the chlorine dies. Never use chlorine on your plants.
