Question for you when you say broken link do you mean it would need to be solder? Or is it an easy jumpring fix?

No sweetie it does not need to be soldered. it is just an open link, that can be easily closed with a tiny needle nose plier or jewelry plier (or your teeth lol). i don't have that tool here.
