You can plug your mp3 player or ipod into it and it becomes a speaker, this also will respond to different types of music and it will move / dance to the beat and will lilght up also.. for some reason I cant copy and paste anything, so if you still need further info..do a search for "i-dog" and it will tell you more.. they are kinda fun.
