The listing, Vintage Holland Dutch WOODEN SHOE SHIP Souvenir Clog Sailboat EUC has ended.

An awesome souvenir from the past!! What you see in the photos is exactly what you're getting. It's in Excellent used condition, still intact!! Minor sail wear, due from packing over the years. Approximate size for this is 5 1/4 inches high and 5 inches long. Due to increasing costs of shipping, I will no longer be offering the GIN option. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. It's free shipping within the USA and once paid with verified address, it will be shipped the following day. Is it from Holland, MI or the actual country Holland? Are there any markings on the bottom of the shoe?

I'm not 100% sure, but I did do some research on this and from what I'm gathering, it looks to be from Holland, a souvenir. The only markings I saw was FC on the bottom.

If I am correct the F C marking means it came from Holland the country. The craftsmen were known to abbreviate the township of their works.

My background is German and we would go to a few other countries and Holland was one and it had a affect on me so I have some wooden shoes some Delft and I think that boat would fit in nicely. We'll see!

they are collectible the wooden shoes goes for over 200 here, I am near Holland MI and the shoes go high... your auction will too :)

Deffinitely from Holland (The Netherlands). No doubt. I grew up with these things. When I was a kid almost every household had one. Now they are mostly souvenirs and I know a lot of Dutch people in North America that have one and can't let go :) FC probably are the initials from the maker or from the town they were made in.
