The listing, Living Tao: A.M. Chi for Beginners [VHS] (1998) has ended.
NICE USED VHS FOR THE BEGINNER.
Chi is "the flow of energy in the human body [that] rises and falls like the tide," explains instructor David-Dorian Ross. Early morning, when the tide of chi within your body is rising, is the time to absorb nature's morning chi, reenergize yourself, and prepare for a calm and balanced day. These chi kung exercises contain three movement sequences, totaling 20 minutes: "Gathering chi from 6 Directions and Mixing It in the Cauldron of the Body," which recharges the spirit with fresh morning chi; "8 Pieces of Brocade," which harmonizes the internal organs, aligns the meridians, and releases toxins; and "Opening the Heart," a set of movements that open the "energy gate" at the heart. The movements are simple, fluid, and comfortable, emphasizing alignment of the spine, breathing, relaxation, and visualization. The scene is a glorious beach with crashing waves. By the end, you'll feel energized and ready to meet the day with calm and balance.
