This one should be fun to see where it goes. Listia newbies are posting a TON of ETH and other boins (BTC and LTC) on LIstia at wildly varying rates.

I have other GIN listings for varying amounts that I listed last night. From what I could tell my GIN listings are the cheapest on LIstia, or were last night ... that can always change!

Did you see my new comment on my non-coin listings? Lots of really great new information on INK posted on a new web link by Listia. I've shared the link in a new comment I posted on all my listings today. Feel free to share!

I'm so pleased about the information available on that new link.

Keep in mind that a lot of the details are NOT ironed out. I know a LOT of Listia members are focussed on being able to cash out. Yesterday I got on the Telegram chat to ask what the process would be to "cash out" ... it appears we may have to convert it to ETH and use something like coinbase to sell THAT for cash, which can go directly to a bank account. There are alternatives but I don't know enough about them ... I'm only familiar with coinbase as far as transferring crypto. This means fees on each leg of the transaction ... larger transactions cost less as a percentage, so cashing out a few bucks at a time to pay for shipping, for example, might not be practical. I HOPE we can somehow move that $$$ to paypal ... that's what I use to buy shipping labels and that is where money goes NOW if we sell credits ... so I'm hoping.

On Sunday I won the "big" listing for .125 BTC.
Seller is troysavage420. I paid 54+ MILLION credits.

It is a SCAM ... so I contacted LIstia and they have refused to shut him down.
troysavage420 has more than 8,000 MORE BTC listings running right now.

DON"T bid on them ... please only bid/buy with TRUSTED Listia sellers!

The upcoming conversion to INK is bringing a whole new flock of scammers.
Be careful!

Here's what happened:
troysavage420 told me he sent the BTC. I checked, nope ... I waited, nope.
I asked him to send me a screen shot of the transaction.
Do you know what he responded? Here it is .... word for word

~I told you I'm to high for this bullsh*t~

So, NOT ONLY a thief, and a liar, but also a druggie.

I cannot post any comments to the more than 8,000 listings he is running because he has blocked me. You are WELCOME to warn other LIstia members if you care to do so.

Here's the kicker
I have alerted Listia that this HUGE scam is taking place.
Their response? Wait three days to request a refund.

His listings are STILL running.
His account is STILL active.
Listia KNOWS this is a huge scam.

Please see my post about the scammer. Lots of new lowball crypto offers every minute. The swamp is full if alligators I fear. Only bid or buy from Listia with a good track record!

Always check recent feedback. That can help but it’s no guarantee.

This seller clearly created “good feedback” by using a network of scammers. They win each other’s listings and when they get their “sellers wings” they start selling to unsuspecting victims.

He’s still sending me messages about “pending credits”. They didn’t realize they didn’t get their credits right away from the other members of the gang. Because they all clicked that they got it right away.

You see?

Listia is allowing this to go on because they simply don’t pay attention. I’m trying to get their attention.

But the problem persists. Most of the coin sellers hid my comment. Only two of them responded. They are oldies but goodies in Listia. Trustworthy.

Ink is a good thing but is will attract much more sophisticated scammers. I hope Listia addresses this with vigor.

On the BrIGHT side I’ve also won a lot of listings from good newbies! That is what I’m hoping Ink will produce ~ a better marketplace.

The scam problem has been BAD for a very long time. High time to fix it.
