Description
The listing, WOW! DMC crochet/tatting thread NOS has ended.
NEW OLD STOCK!! As you can see, this was a full box, as it came from DMC..the writing is in both English and French. DMC still provides high quality threads for handwork today! This is in truly amazing condition Tissue covers have not a smudge or wrinkle! there is a spot on top where it looks like someone removed a sticker (probably price tag). Also comes with a vintage well used rug hook..all the red paint has been worn off the handle.
TO SHIP THIS PROPERLY I must ask for help on this. Thanks for understanding. I would hate to have it crushed in the mail!
I ship to Listia stored addresses only.. Please send your info and shipping promptly. If you have not made arrangements with me after 7 days I will re-list the item. NO REFUND/NO RTN/NO INT'L SHIPPING
I appreciate that. I normally don't, but with items that require money exchanged, I think it's wise. I've won a couple of items and never received them, with postage being charged, as well... So, thanks, and I hope to win!
Good luck to you, I do thread crochet, and my husband found this at a yard sale, can you imagine??? I have had it in my curio case for about 5 years I guess. If that happens again, you can file a support ticket, and if the seller cannot prove they mailed it, you at least get your credits back, and if it's pay pal, I'm thinking that would mean postage also...
I have crocheted for just about 40 years thread &yarn and have an extensive collection of notions and pattern books. This is a wonderful treasure! Funny thing about it is the box itself is worth quite a bit-more than the thread! You almost never see the packaging they are shipped in. Love it! Kudos on a hubby who not only knows what you collect but buys it for you too! Fanned%watching!
I know...I was awed by it, I kept it in my curio cabinet..safe from dust and handling...it is fabulous. I have crochet for 23 years (self taught when I became a stay at home Mom in Alaska lol...of course I started with thread work, and tho I did make an afghan or two, and some baby clothes, I very much prefer working in thread...recently,after an MRI, my neuro consult (told me he thought I needed suggested I stop...Sad to say I feel better than I have in years..no Chiro/no massage/ no PT...and my headaches have reduced radically (along with shoulder and neck pain. That is why I am letting this go now. I hope you win :D It deserves a home that knows just how special it is, not one where it makes me sad now when I look at it..Happy Bidding and Good Luck fanning u back!
