Description

The listing, Anise Mint LIVE PLANT has ended.

This anise mint is a perennial plant that will spread (like most mints spread). It produces small mauve flowers mid to late summer, but this plant is predominantly grown for its fragrance, which is very much like liquorice. The foliage smells divine, and can be used in many culinary dishes. I'm particularly fond of using this with cucumber in a refreshing summer sorbet.

I promise you the plant is live when I dig it up. The photo is from the parent plant in my herb garden (where it is spreading nicely). I know this will grow, and I will ship it promptly and package it carefully, but I do not guarantee that if you leave it in the box for a week and do not tend to it that it will still be alive. Please play fair.

I'm sure you would get a good season out of it in a large pot. I don't know about it wintering over. Mint is kind of hard to kill, but I've never tried to overwinter it in a pot. Sorry I can't be more help; perhaps someone else has more info?
