This phone was purchased about 6 months ago brand new.There is NO CONTRACT attached to this phone and it has a CLEAN esn.The carrier is sprint...I have no idea whether or not you can use a sprint phone with a different carrier. If that's your plan, you may want to call and check before bidding!

Rooting basically means all the Sprint crap ware is removed and features that Sprint saw fit to "lock" are unlocked & available, like the hotspot functionality :). Love rooted Android phones :) FW

For some strange reason I am unable to edit this auction even though there are no bids! So..I'm adding the edit here...just something I left out that might be important!

My husband rooted this phone a few months ago. I did a factory reset so I'm not sure if it's still rooted. In fact, I have no idea what any of that even means, so if anyone knows, feel free to enlighten me! :)
