The listing, camera,i cant figure it out! has ended.

I am putting this nice new camera up for auction as i cannot figure out what is wrong,i turn it on and it says lens error and shuts off, so if you are smart on this type of camera and can figure how to work it,then good luck to you! i am including everything it came with. i got a new easier one for myself as this was a gift. i hope someone can figure it out and use it. thank you.

The lens error is a common thing in the Cannon digital cameras. All you need to do is download a patch from their website. I don't blame you for getting an easier camera. Cannon is a great product except for their digital.Good luck to whoever gets it.

no, i'm careful with all my belongings,it just comes on then says lens error, then automatically shuts off, maybe someone who has knowledge of this sort of camera can figure it out! otherwise maybe they can send it back to the manufacturer and replace it, i already got an easier one, i cant deal with complicated things, it has a disc for the computer,and all kinds of info,and attachments, i just wanted a simple push the button and take a pic, like the old polaroids,they were the best!

well,i suppose,but if someone knew how to fix it,and i could earn lots of credits and since i already got an different easier one,plus i got it for a b'day gift and i dont have a rect.,plus listia did the promo of listing a camera item for extra credits, so it seemed like a good idea to me, why keep a camera in a drawer that ya cant use? so here it is.

10.0 mega pixels , 2AA batteries included.it says all the info. in the booklet. this is a canon power shot A495,i got a sanyo one that is easy, i just cant figure this one out and why it shuts off automatically and says lens error. i hope someone can,it would be well worth it to somebody,i'm sure.

yes,actually i took some pics,left it in the car,and the next time i went to use it, i turned it on, it said lens error and shut back off. everything is in the box it came with.it can be downloaded into the computer and all kinds of stuff, but its all too complicated for me so my dearest got me a simpler one.so if someone can fix the error, i think i took a few pics of our solar house.and a rainbow in our driveway.:-)
