got these for free from a contest (were originally $35) but already sized up before i got them so i never wore them. they are finished in jojoba oil and beeswax for a nice satin finish. please note they cannot be sterilized or sanitized because wood swells when immersed in water, therefore do NOT get these wet, other than the monthly jojoba oil rubs to keep them from splitting. you can pick up a large bottle of jojoba oil at a local nutrition store like GNC for about $10

they have 3/8" wearable area, suitable for large lobes. they are meant to be worn in healed piercings ONLY!

best of luck!, the reason i like them as well as any organic material (stone, bone, wood, etc) is cuz they dont harbor the ear stink odor like acrylic steel and silicone do.
