Okay, here's the deal. I bought these in 1999 when I was in Honolulu. I hooked up with a friend's daughter who was stationed there, she took us to the base because I absolutely had to have the "real thing "! Don't ask me why, cos I didn't even wear them a half dozen times. Heck,they aren't even broke in. Size. 8, Corcoran brand, leather, made in Martinsburg PA. I can't remember which base either, but it had to be one of two, lol. I do remember that they were pretty expensive even with her discount. Someone will get a great pair of authentic combat boots ;+). Have fun bidding!

Yes. Soldiers wear the exact same boots. Nothing distinctive as far as gender. Don't have a clue what size they are for men though.

I looked online for a conversion chart for army boots to regualr civillian shoe size.

It says that a size 8 boot would be a size 5 civillian shoe.
And a size 8 civillian shoe would be a size 10 boot.

What size does the boot say? And is it army boots? Or other?

Just wondering trying to make sure they would fit me before I bid.

That's weird. I wear a size 8 or 81/2 and these boots are a size 8. I didn't know that there was a conversion chart for civilian/combat. These are the real deal they are definitely army boots. Bought right on base. Since I wear a size 8 and they are size 8 maybe in '99 there was no difference, since these are the actual size I wear. Hmm, really weird.
