The listing, 1928 $2 Note - Washed Out! has ended.
A 1928 F $2 Legal Tender Note (it once had the Red Seal). Apparently has been through the wash, as the Seal and serial numbers have been washed out!
This actually illustrates how paper money is printed! The first print is the black text on the obverse (front) that you see in the photo. Next, the Seal and serial numbers are printed (you may see listings on that big auction site for $2 notes with GOLD seals; what they've done is taken a RED SEAL note and chemically treated it to change the color of the seal and serial numbers; there's NEVER been a $2 Gold Certificate). After that, the notes (32 to a sheet) are flipped, and the reverse is printed in green, which is where we get the term "Greenbacks"!
