I love fish. I used to have a dozen aquariums and raised fish and live plants. I wish I could have them again, but my house is too small now!

I have three tanks running right now. lol I don't have any room for anymore. Well I could put some upstairs, but I'm afraid I might forget about them. I don't have the ten gallon running anymore. They are so peaceful.

You can use a filter like this in a smaller tank, it will provide the aeration and nitrifying you need. If the fish you are keeping like less flow, these smaller filters are great for larger tanks, as long as the filter will fit on the edge of the tank. I loved my 20-long tanks. At one point I had a 5-foot 110-gallon and a six-foot 125 gallon. Loved those things *sigh* sold them all when I moved five years ago.

Well thats neat. I'll keep that in mind if I ever need less flow. I wish I could have a 110 gallon!!! lol Right now I have a 55 gal. 36 gal. bow front, and a 26 gal I believe that is holding my pond goldfish and koi

I'm sorry, I meant that you can use a filter this size on a larger tank, doesn't have to be a 10-gallon. Believe it or not, I still have one or two fish filters in my storage stash.

I now live on the Chesapeake Bay and you can catch little fish here and keep them in a tank for a while. I might do that again someday. We have sheepshead minnows here that have a bright blue flash spot on their head. Hard to find but I know where they are!
