I’ve always loved horses. My dad had horses. He had a poultry farm in Baltimore city! Yep, it’s true! Back in the 30s thru 1953. He bought his horses at Pony Penning Day at chincoteaque or Assateaque. Forget which. He was a “street Arab”, so to speak. He sold ice. My daughter trains in Dressage. She shows too. She has a pearlino (looks white) with blue eyes, quarterhorse.

It is an elaborate toy robot that can be controlled with a phone app so it acts like the "real" R2D2 in the movies. It also can be programmed. Read the description. It tells a lot!

If your son can operate apps on a smartphone or plays video games I would think he'd like this. It's more of an older child or adult toy rally. Not THAT kind of adult toy....

I have no idea what exactly this toy is. I assume an electronic robot. Can you describe it a little more. How big is it? What does it do?

As a kid I used to find my dad on his route to ride along. He would give out snowballs to the kids as he drove along. He never charged for them. He kept assorted syrups in the truck and paper cups. I was allergic to the blue snowballs. My tongue and throat swelled up. I won’t eat anything blue to this day. But overall they were some good memories. He was the local bookie too ;-)

I'm open to listing anything you can get on Amazon so if you want something in particular just let me know. Before the ink conversion feb 28. Things are gonna change then. For the better I hope but I think the deals might be better on Listia now.

I have tons of jewelry but am not listing as much of it right now. You can see some stuff I have listed currently and others I have if you scroll through my ended listings and/or feedback. I'm listing a few nice ones tonight. They start at 9 or 10 and run for a week.

You sound like me. I grew up in Baltimore. My hubby inherited the house we’re in now 12 years ago. It’s a 1909 2nd Empire House. We’ve been rehabbing it. Needed lots of work! We are in town so not much land. We have a horse that we board on a nearby farm. That’s the only regret. I would rather be out of town with some acreage.

I had horses in a previous life. I love them so! We don't have land either but you can buy it very cheap here. Hunting land can be relatively expensive but a house with a few acres is very inexpensive around here. It's very rural here. One sold a few months ago with a gorgeous view of the water, ranch house, and an enormous garage shop big enough for at least two giant boats!

It was an auction. Top bid was like $70k but the auctioneer got them to pay the minumum at $105k. I couldn't believe it. That giant storage building would cost $50k to build all by itself. Gorgeous water view. I was just flabbergasted. The house needed work but had a gorgeous great room addition overlooking he view.

Oh yes, our neighbor has a beach house we use close to Bethany or ocean city. We used to go camping near rehobeth when our kids were little. We had a travel trailer back then. The beach house is lots more comfortable. We have friends in the Cambridge and Easton. Yep, you are over the bridge from us.

We lived in the DC metro for 25 years and bought this house in 1995. It was a duplex with two tiny apartments. We renovated to a single family in 2000 and moved here permanently in 2011. Still renovating!

It was originally built in 1840. We have foot wide heart pine floors that we saved in the bedrooms!

Here are the basic facts:

✓ Feb. 28 we will have the CHOICE to convert credits to INK. 3,850 credits will BUY you 1 INK. Ink is currently priced at 14 cents ($.14)
✓ If you do NOT convert your credits, you can spend them on LIstia until they are gone, but all FUTURE transactions will be in INK.
✓ INK is a new crypto-currency that will fluctuate in value. If you convert your credits, and the value goes up, you will make REAL MONEY. Like any other crypto, INK *will* fluctuate in value. Possibly a LOT in the early days/months ...
You can continue to use your INK on Listia, just the same as credits. BUT you will OWN your INK and you also can cash it out (for example to pay for shipping expenses), spend it on LIstia, or hold it to see if it goes up in value. I DO NOT know how “cashing out” INK will work. I hope Listia can explain that SOON.

I do too ... $1 is a small amount to pay. Normally it costs maybe $3 to sent coin from one wallet to another, so I'd prefer to keep everything in coinbase ... It's a very nice feature!

I hope Listia can do it that way but legally they can't talk about exchanges. We just have to wait ... I have NO intention of paying a lot of fees to Listia to move INK around, that's for sure.

I even have my settings so text is REALLY large on imessage and some web sites but that doesn't help with other apps, including Listia. It would be helpful if we could TURN the phone to horizontal with Listia's app ... that always makes the text larger!

I've suggested that to the LIstia owners ... but it was a while ago and I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry. Today I'm asking them about cashing out INK ... seems like it will be complex and expensive. PLUS we won't immediately have any wallet that will handle INK, that's my impression.

However, I think we could simply win BTC ETC LTC listings with INK and have it sent to coinbase where it is easy to cash out to a bank or paypal ... not sure of the fees involved in that. Do you know? I've never tried it ... so far only a buyer on coinbase.
