This is a fantastic computer game for kids learning to read or in the beginning reading stage. It was one of my daughter's favorites, but now that she is 9 it's no longer being used. It has two modes of play: Either it will read to your child while highlighting the words in full color animation and then the teacher interacts with the children in the classroom with Aruthur (looks just like Arthur's TV program) or in play mode it will read one page at a time and then stop so the child can click on multiple items on each page to get the characters or items to talk or move.

The setup instructions are for MacIntosh or Power MacIntosh, Windows 3.1, or Windows 95, however, it is on our old Windows 97 and I just installed this on my Windows XP that is only two years old and it worked just fine. (A message came up that says "256 color display recommended, play anyway?" and I clicked yes with no issues with color or resolution.) Please note the disk does have lots of tiny scratches from lots of use, but this does not affect the use. The disk has been tested and plays well. It has been placed in a new jewel case.
