This is an easy and extremely versatile pattern! Some quilt patterns can be used over and over to produce completely unique quilts that you would never know are from the same pattern - just because you can change the look completely by the color scheme and fabrics you use. This is one of those!!

The pattern is for a specific size ( 61" x 73"), but you can easily change the size, by simply reducing or increasing the number of blocks you make.

The first picture shows a baby quilt I made using this pattern, while the second shows a quilt made the size given in the pattern, out of scraps. You can see how mine uses the pattern to frame a fussy-cut monkey in each square, while the other has a sort of windmill look.

Drawing this pattern out on graph paper really shows you its versatility - that's how I came up with my version.

I scanned this in, because it was a very rough copy I clipped in pieces many years ago - it is fuzzy at full screen, but very readable when you choose "best fit" in your document viewer.
