Hi, have a look at Regional Box A, about the size of medium flat rate, bit larger. Might cut the shipping by half.

So you think that it needs to go into a Large Flat Rate? Regional A also comes as a side loading box at 11x2.5x13 ... Then of course there is Regional B top loading at 12x10x5.
If you ship a lot it is worth looking into it. Depending on your Post Office, you might not find the boxes and have to order directly from USPS.com. There is also a Regional C, but is humongous and if it is not "regional" it costs more than regular priority. All of these do have tracking with them.
Hard to tell from the pictures how big that camera box is, and hard to calculate not knowing where you are. Here is an example from me (Kansas City) to New York
Priority Mail Regional Rate Box A
USPS-Produced Box: 12-13/16" x 10-15/16" x 2-3/8" or 10" x 7" x 4-3/4"
Cost $7.95.
Regional Rate Box B
USPS-Produced Box: 15-7/8" x 14-3/8" x 2-7/8" or 12" x 10-1/4" x 5"
Cost $12.74
Beats Flat Rate most of the time...

I started the bidding, but seriously for 5 credits I think you're not getting what it's worth. OR even 100 credits. I hope somebody is willing to give more than 101 credits.

My post office only offers 3 flat rate boxes... and they are out of them 1/2 the time im from a small town... that could be why ....

yep... that would do it. But there might be another trick, if you get it into a flat rate envelope, all taped up in any weird shape or not, it will ship at flat rate envelope price.
Trick from my Post Office lady in a very small town. (Benefit, you can learn a lot if there aren't 50 people waiting in line.)
One way or the other, we're going to work it out. Seems that I'm going to get a camera. Want to order some boxes from the post office and wait with shipping? Fine by me, your doing a lot of shipping anyway. They come in 10 packs ...
