When I looked her profile over discovered she was new I was thinking seriously?? How can she tell somebody anything like she knows anything at all about presentation! Lol! And honestly what credits does she have to bid?? Lol! I tru very hard to help all of our newbies out take them under my wing and teach them little discovered secrets and all my wonderful and amazing friends and teachers have taught me, but you know,, no one can help people like that. I also read through the comments from the past few days - I'm a newbie here, but I would never make a rude comment on someone's auction. How crass! I do sell elsewhere and listia is like a breath of fresh air - people are genuinely friendly and I'm having fun here (instead of stressing out).

I find it funny when people tell you, of all people, what's what in high end make-up. I wonder why people feel the need to say they won't bid on something...It's pretty simple, keep your negative opinions to yourself, and just skip the auction if you don't like what you see. Some people's children. ;)

I think all of our mommas tought us the same thing, if you dont have nothing nice to say, dont say nothing at all, but some kids were also dropped on their heads, lol! And you know these show everything important. I dont know what happened. I do know when I was uploading my pics listia kept saying here n there they were experiencing technical problems, so I wonder if that had something to do with this issue because pictires before and after the messed up ones in this and other auctions were fine. Lol! I guess when I get home I need to retake some, cause it is bugging me as well, but gesh, how rude! Lol!

Honestly though my picture quality for some reason is off. I dont know what is happening with some of my pictures. But I did a bunch for a ton of auctions and a few here n there are not very great quality, but as you said they are detailed and show everything that is important. I am in slight shock with a very angry aftertaste. I am very familiar with Maddi (23 GINs for March!!) and I see many others, who, like Maddi, offer these wonderful, high end cosmetics (I am one of those people too!!) in a credit based, trading economy where there is always a risk, but Listia is a wonderful, fun, rewarding little community where we appreciate each other and help each other in ways that you can't get from selling for cash on eBay or Amazon.

We all could very well take our high end cosmetics and sell them all for cash, but we find the friendship and nice community aspect of Listia to be appealing for many reasons and we know what it's like to not have $$$ to buy these items.

Instead of having people visit an auction to be blatantly rude about photography to make darn sure you know that they aren't bidding (scary, eh?) could have been a private message to you to give you some quick tips for your photographs in a friendly manner. There's a huge difference between being an insulting jerk in public to "prove" something and privately contacting someone to say something like, "Hey, you have this auction ______ that is wonderful -- I am not familiar with Stila and do not know how to look up a stock photo on google images, would you mind taking more photos? -- so, maybe taking a few more photos in different lighting, setting, etc., would do your auction the justice it deserves?"

I'm sorry to be ranting on your auction when we aren't particularly familiar with each other, but I was checking out your auction and saw all of these updates so I had to read the comments.

If I didn't have a computer and an awesome digital camera and only had an iPhone for posting auctions and photos I would be more frustrated than anyone!!

Kudos for not hiding the comments. Best of luck on this auction.

People know how to act in public they just choose to be ugly! And where she was new with only two fan backs and no experiance what so ever she had no right to critize in such a way, or at all. All I can say to that my friend is AMEN AND DITTO! Lol! Seriously all the way around! Lol! I so need to bite the bullet though and do it! Thank the Lord for MS MADDI! Not only is she a blessing in my life threw her friendship but she is helping me out with her computer, an awesome pretty much brand new one, and is willing to teach a computer illeteraite person such as myself how to use it and do things with it. Lol! Such as plugging it in, hocking it up without blowing it up, and hopfully if that is a succsess, how to use it in very basic way just to list auctions here, and a few other places, lol!!
