The listing, Cable modem with wireless router has ended.

Docsis 3.0 cable modem, with built in wireless gateway.Motorola SBG6580.

The modem is about a year and half old. We used it for maybe a year before we switched to a internet company that provided modems.

does it come with cd to install? and will it work with any internet service provider?

it doesn't have an installation cd, It will work with any Cable internet provider.

so theres nothing like installation in this? i really dunno much about this so asking. Will it work for overseas cable internet connection. I am planning to give this to my brother. and he lives overseas

There's no instillation since you have to get a account with the cable company and they give you the instillation software. Our cable company wanted to charge us a rental fee for a modem so we bought a modem to avoid that.
I don't know anything about overseas cable company so I would say it won't work.

most overseas power is 50 hertz,ours is 60, may want to check voltage too.

It depends on what you mean wireless. You can't attach it to a laptop and take it downtown. We had the modem in the corner, the computer on the other side of the room and never tripped over a wire.
