Description

The listing, 2 skeins of cashmere thread has ended.

I do not know alot about these. Bought them off E-bay, supposed to be cashmere, but it's small...it's thread, not yarn. I have the 2 skeins/balls and that's all. I cannot read the writing on them. Yes, I smoke and have pets. One skein has a little used from it...okay, I tried, but this is not for me. So, if you want it, here it is. The colors are cream and rust, with what looks to me to be some green, too. As usual (all together now!) if you don't like it, just relist it. Okay, found some info on it. These are 52% Angora Mohair and 48% wool cashmere. 50 g. skeins at 455 yards each, except for the one missing a bit.

Fanned back and ty! These are incredibly soft, but I just couldn't get my fingers to "get it"! LOL I love crochet also. For a size comparison, it's about the same size as #10 crochet thread.

Oh, it is the size thread I learn to crochet with. I learn on my own.

A kindred spirit! I sat down last summer with a skein of yarn and a hook, determined I would learn. All I knew was the chain. Took me a few weeks, and quite a few disasters, but now I'm getting compliments on my work. I'm afraid I do better with the 3-5 weight yarns though.

Fanned and watching. This is great to knit in with a white or cream colored cashmere to give it a pretty effect.

Oh, EXCELLENT: "about the same size as #10 crochet thread." I'm creating historical dolls using Barbie's I'm refurbishing and Turn-of-the-Century and Edwardian gowns. This would make a GORGEOUS gown for one of them (I'm making 26 of them---one for each month of the year and a bride for each category). My two granddaughters will each inherit a complete set. (Lots of fun but it's tiny work that's suited to this thread). WATCHING closely!

Best that I could compare it to, but remember this is a cashmere blend so it is very light weight. It would be tiny work! Too tiny for my fingers any way! LOL The person I bought it from actually listed it as a 2 or 3 weight yarn...I don't think so! Not in my experience with those weight yarns any way. But, my learning experience will be someone else's gain. :) I hope who ever wins it can find a good use for it, because it is quite nice and soft.
