The listing, Vintage Disney Peter Pan Picture Puzzle Booklet for NBC Bread promo - 1950s has ended.

Vintage Disney Peter Pan Picture Puzzle promotional tie-in from 1952 or so for NBC Bread.

This was a fun promotion -- this folded booklet opens up to 18 inches, with the inside showing blank outlines of various Peter Pan characters (see 3rd scan). On each loaf of bread on the outside of the packaging was a Peter Pan character -- the directions (see 2nd picture) said "Ask mom to touch a warm (not hot) iron to the end picture and presto ... it slides right off!"

A hot iron to the bread bag while the kids watch -- what could possibly go wrong?

This puzzle book is in very good condition, with yellowing and very mild wear on the edges. Because it is 9-1/8 inches tall, I was unable to fit the entire piece on the scanner, but opted to scan instead of taking a photo because of the quality of image. As a result the images shown cut off sections of the entire area and you are unable to see the inside fully unfolded.

I will back and bag the item with an acid-free backing board and clear protective bag.

Thanks -- this was an amazing find discovered on a shelf under some magazines in a basement of an old house in Lakewood, Ohio! It probably had been sitting there for 55 years or more!

Oh, I know what you mean -- I've run out a few times at inconvenient times, and I've found myself now trying to put up listings to snag the category bonuses to squirrel away points. I still don't have a good sense of point value, but I think that is part of the fun.

peter pan is one of my FAVORITE disney movies...When I was little I jumped off my dresser because I thought I could fly...well my sis said that I needed fairy dust to do so : ( this is a very NICE item.....fanned and bidding....please fan back! thanks!

It's not so much a puzzle as a booklet where you would collect the pieces from the bread wrappers -- there are 23 blanks in all (the white outlines of the Peter Pan characters in the picture) -- It's never been used so there are none of the pieces in it. This was a promotional item for NBC Bread.
