I don't expect that it is since this package hasn't been opened. It is all still sealed in the shrinkwrap.

According to the package it works with all "other" (besides Windows 95, 98 and NT) major network operating systems.

That is not a problem i have ever had before. I usually register things online without a receipt. I've only needed receipts when registering for rebates.
