it gose in the front on ours if you look at your ps3 in the front were you have usb ports and there is that big hang over ( that is what I am calling the pice above the usb plugs ) if you look up there you see were the vent holes are ? this is were it gose on ours . I can not answer that question about dose it go on all ps3 I will have to ask my husband that one and once I can i will let you know.
