Also known as 'Eastern Black Wax', this old-time favorite is highly productive over a long period of time. The plants are 14 to 21 inches tall and are bushy, vigorous, and both rust and mosaic virus resistant.
The pods are curved, about five to seven inches long, round-oval in cross section, and golden-yellow in color. Excellent heavy yielding, home garden, all-purpose type, that is great fresh, canned, or frozen. As the name hints, the seeds are black.
