That is why I have also included 4 very good movies with this player. You can also play regular DVD discs. The player comes with an IR port and a programmable remote! All Microsoft licensed products. The player provides 2 additional USB ports for your Xbox 360. This player will help to save your drive on your Xbox, if you watch regular movies. And just great to have, if you are a collector of all things Xbox!

HD DVD player that plays regular dvd discs. The HD dvd format lost out to the Blu ray format a la beta vs VHS

Ok, so it plays BlueRay's ... very cool. And regular DVD's. Here is my main concern (since my 360's drive died itslef & will not read crap):

Will this ALSO play actual X-Box 360 titles ????

Kind of like a external DVD burner on a PC can still play DVD's & read discs but also serve as a nother drive if you don't have a internal one?

No. This will not play bluray. Only regular DVDs and HD DVDs. The HD DVD loss the format war to the bluray disc. It will not play xbox games. Its just an external reader for HD DVDs and regular DVDs
